WFLF Strengthens Collaboration with the Carolina Hurricanes to Support Special Operations Veterans in the Raleigh Area
Raleigh, NC – August 30, 2024—The Warrior For Life Fund (WFLF) is proud to announce its recent engagement with the Carolina Hurricanes leadership team alongside members of the Joint Special Operations Association and Vigilant Torch Association. This collaborative meeting, held on August 30, 2024, was a key opportunity to strengthen ties with the active-duty and retired Special Operations military community in the Raleigh area.
The discussions focused on enhancing collaboration, providing support, and increasing community engagement between the Carolina Hurricanes organization and these vital veteran service organizations. The Warrior For Life Fund is committed to building lasting relationships that serve those who have served our nation, and this meeting marks a significant step forward in that mission.
The Warrior For Life Fund supports active duty, veterans, and their families through sports and community engagement. The mission is to help individuals navigate the unique challenges of combat deployments and post-service life by providing opportunities for fellowship, fitness, and mental health improvement.
Vigilant Torch Association, founded in 2009, is a volunteer organization with the mission to give back to our select Special Operations community by providing mental health support, community building, and financial support.
