Training with VR on the Ice
Coach Mike wanted to see what it would be like to train using Sense Arena VR gear on the ice. So he attached the sensors to his glove and blocker, packed the million pads goalies wear, and hit the ice.
Sense Arena, has played a crucial role in our journey to discover new and innovative ways to promote active duty and veteran fitness/mental health at the Warrior For Life Fund Human Performance Center.
A dedicated training sponsor and supporter, Sense Arena is a cutting-edge virtual reality (VR) training platform designed to help hockey players of all levels enhance their skills, decision-making, and cognitive performance. It uses VR headsets to simulate realistic on-ice scenarios, allowing players to train in a controlled, immersive environment without requiring access to physical ice or equipment.
The Warrior for Life Fund integrates Sense Arena into its training programs at the Human Performance Center. This partnership allows them to support veterans, active service members, and their families by embracing technology to find a training and healing path.
