Face Off For Heroes
Warrior For Life Fund’s Face Off for Heroes memorial hockey games honor fallen members of the Naval Special Warfare community while strengthening connections among active-duty service members, veterans, families and supporters. Held in Boston, Virginia Beach, Anaheim, Bozeman and Tampa, the series brings together NHL alumni, military players and local communities in a powerful tribute to service and sacrifice. Through its partnership with the NHL and support from other dedicated organizations, Face Off for Heroes uses the shared experience of hockey to build fellowship and ensure our fallen heroes are never forgotten.
Face Off for Heroes also raises critical funding and awareness for WFLF’s year-round programs. These initiatives support fellowship, physical wellness, mental and cognitive health, traumatic brain injury care, adaptive athletics and family connection, creating a Persistent Presence for service members, veterans and their loved ones.
The series has gained national recognition through its partnerships with the NHL, Boston Bruins Alumni, Anaheim Ducks Alumni and other dedicated organizations. These relationships bring greater attention to the importance of honoring military heroes, supporting their families and sustaining programs for those who continue to serve. Each event reflects Warrior For Life Fund’s commitment to preserving the legacy of fallen service members while strengthening the community surrounding active-duty personnel, veterans and their loved ones.
