Chief Naval Special Warfare Operator Michael T. Ernst Memorial Game
The Boston 401s(k)aters will honor the memory of Chief Naval Special Warfare Operator Michael T. Ernst (SEAL), a Cohasset native who died in a parachuting training accident on February 19, 2023. Mike was a highly decorated Navy SEAL, who received many commendations including a Silver Star for valor in combat. Mike had a lifelong love for the game of hockey, playing for Thayer Academy in Braintree, MA, and skating for many years in the Warrior for Life Fund hockey program in Virginia Beach, VA.
Each Boston 401s(k)ater team member is raising money to support Warrior For Life Fund. You can support the Warrior For Life Fund through them by donating here. If you wish to attend the event, tickets are $20.00 each and may be purchased here.
Warrior for Life Fund focuses support to active duty, veterans, and their families through sport and community as they navigate the unique challenges of combat deployments and life after service. Utilizing an evidence based and informed approach, WFLF creates an enduring environment of fellowship, fitness, and mental/cognitive health improvement that has lasting impact to our members.
All proceeds from your donations and all ticket sales benefit the Warrior For Life Fund, a 501(c)3 public charity Tax ID# 46-0552796. Additionally, the Warrior for Life Fund will donate a portion of funds raised to Ernst Family Scholarship.
